Lähdimme matkaan sunnuntaina 13.9.2015 klo. 14.05 Helsinki-Vantaalta kohti Lontoota ja sieltä Hong Kongin kautta Bangkokiin. Ensimmäinen lento oli Finnairin, kesti kolmisen tuntia. Toinen, pisin lento oli Cathay Pacificin ja kesto mukavat 12 tuntia. Pisin lento millä kumpikaan meistä on ollut. Se oli yölento, joka helpotti vähän.
Viimeinen lento oli myös Cathayn ja kesti myös kolmisen tuntia. Lennot menivät mukavasti ilman suurempia viivästyksiä. Vaihtoajat olivat noin pari tuntia, joten aika meni nopeasti kentällä. Lennot olivat halvat 310€ per henkilö, niistä kirjoittelin aiemmin tänne.
Lennettiin ensimmäistä kertaa Cathay Pacificin koneella ja ei ole kyllä mitään moittimista. Mukavat lentoemännät, hyvät elokuvat, hyvä ruoka ja muutenkin kaikki sujui mainiosti.
Matkatavarat löysivät perille yhtenä kappaleena ja kaikki ehjänä. Saatiin vielä Finskin baggage drop pisteeltä muovipussit rinkkojen päälle, jotka oli kyllä hyvä extrasuoja. Rinkkojen päällä meillä oli sadesuojat, vähän elmukelmua ja matkalaukkuvyöt.
Kaikki meni siis suunnitelmien mukaan ja päästiin turvallisesti perille :) Yritän kirjotella heti huomenna tai myöhemmin tänään meidän Bangkokin etapista.
Koh Taolla on kaikki mennyt tosi kivasti, mutta siitäkin sitten lisää myöhemmin. En malttais näpytellä mitään postauksia, mutta yritän parhaani ;)

We left on Sunday 13 September at 2.05 p.m. from Helsinki-Vantaa towards Bangkok. First stop was in London and the second one in Hong Kong. The first flight, about three hours was operated by Finnair and the later two by Cathay Pacific. The flight from London to Hong Kong was the longest I've ever had, approx. 12 hours. It was a night flight so it was easier.
All the flights went well and there was no big delays. I wrote about the flights earlier, the post can be found here.
The flights were pretty cheap 310€ per person.
This was our first time flying with Cathay Pacific.
All in all everything went smoothly, the flight attendants were nice, food was good, the in flight entertainment had a good selection and no problem in any point.
Our backpacks arrived safely both in one piece. We had the rain covers on them as well some plastic wrapping. We got huge plastic bags from the Finnair baggage drop counter which were really useful.
Everything went according to plans and we arrived safely to Bangkok. I'll try to write about our stay in Bangkok today or tomorrow. Here in Koh Tao everything has went really well, I'll write later about that. I don't have much patience now to stay indoors and write but I'll try ;)
