Varasimme yhden päivän eläintarhaan ja sen täytyi tietysti olla Taronga Zoo. Sydneyn keskustassa on myös eläintarha Wild life Sydney zoo, mutta se on kovin pieni ja kokonaan sisätiloissa. Mutta jos jotain kiinnostaa niin edullisia tarjouspaketteja myyvät monet toimistot. $69 maksavalla paketilla näkee Wild life Sydney zoon, Madame Tussaud vahakabinetin, Sydney Towerin, Manly sea life sanctuaryn sekä Sea life Sydney aquariumin.
Me halusimme kuitenkin panostaa yhteen hyvään ja lähdimme aamupäivästä lautalla kohti Mosmania, joka on n. 12 minuutin lauttamatkan päästä Sydneyn satamasta. Pääsylippu on $46, mutta meillä oli -15% alennusliput turistivihkosista, jotka Ilari oli bongannut lentokentältä. Olimme paikalla 11 maissa ja kyllä taas vähän meinasi hoppu tulla kun eläintarha meni viideltä jo kiinni.
21 hehtaariin mahtui vaikka mitä, mutta meihin vaikutuksen tekivät erityisesti hylkeet. Niistä myös pieni video alla :) Tässä parhaat otokset Taronga Zoosta.

We went to Taronga zoo one day which is a 12-minute ferry ride away from Sydney Harbour in Mosman. There's also a zoo called Wild life Sydney zoo in the center but it's small and indoors. If you're interested in going there you might as well get the offer package for $69 which includes entry to Wild life Sydney zoo, Madame Tussaud wax museum, Sydney Tower, Manly sea life sanctuary and Sea life Sydney aquarium.
We decided to use our money to one really good zoo so we decided to go to Taronga zoo. The entry ticket is $46 but we had -15% discount coupon from one tourist booklet which Ilari found from the airport. We arrived to the zoo around 11 am and left around 5 pm when the zoo closed.
There was a lot to see in 21 hectares and best parts are here in photos :)
